Council agreed on a formal exchange of letters with the Clean Energy Council to formalise the CEC role as Administrator and Steward of the New Energy Tech Consumer Code.
Council reviewed the revised NETCC branding strategy and provided feedback to design company Ellis Jones.
Council agreed that a stakeholder engagement plan should be implemented as soon as possible. The plan should include regular updates about the program’s development and timelines, with the updates increasing in frequency as the program gets closer to launch.
A FAQ section within the NETCC’s webpage was suggested as the program develops. Council agreed on the importance of clarity about the scope of the NETCC.
A preliminary stakeholder list/engagement plan will be provided to the next Council meeting.
The CEC has established the scope, processes and requirements of the NETCC website, Approved Seller portal and CRM that will support the NETCC program, and is currently liaising with relevant vendors to finalise delivery timeframes. Program updates will be a standing agenda for Council meetings.
Council agreed that meetings in 2022 should continue to take place every six weeks. Ad hoc meetings and out of session requests for input to be arranged if needed.
